Leading specialist recruitment agency Acorn has added a Portsmouth branch to its increasing portfolio in the South East following further employer demand in the area.
Staff at the new branch are working closely with leading local businesses to place talented individuals into a variety of roles throughout a range of industries.
The Portsmouth team will be managed by newly-appointed Southampton-based Jemma Dean. Having previously worked within the driving and logistics recruitment industry, Jemma held senior recruitment roles in Brisbane, Australia before returning to the UK, where she worked within the construction recruitment field and as an independent recruitment specialist before joining Acorn earlier this year. Jemma’s unique knowledge of the South East job market will play a big part in Acorn’s ongoing growth across the region.

Jemma will be supported by experienced recruiter Ben Evans, who has joined Acorn as an Account Manager. Having worked extensively within the gas, petroleum and industrial sector, Ben brings a wealth of recruitment knowledge to the new branch.
Acorn now has a significant presence throughout southern England, with Portsmouth joining existing branches in Barnstaple, Bridgwater, Bristol, Bournemouth, Chippenham, Exeter, Gloucester, Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Tiverton, Truro, Yeovil and Weston-super-Mare.
