Ryden and FT Linden have announced four new lettings at Edgefield Trade Park, Loanhead following the completion of an extensive refurbishment earlier this year by Business Parcs Limited.
The new tenants include SAR Recycling, Inclusive Scotland, Ocelot Chocolate, and Les Whatford. All four lettings have achieved £8.50 – £9 per sq ft, and there are currently five units remaining.
The 27,000 sq ft facility which was previously occupied by CGD Binders, has been sub-divided into 10 modern industrial / workshop units ranging from c.2,000 – 4,500 sq ft.
The building now benefits from new insulated walls and roof with each unit having an electric up and over vehicle door, tea prep and WC. Along with a re surfaced communal yard / parking area.
Cameron Whyte of Ryden commented: “Subdivision of redundant industrial units is an initiative we expect to see more of as Edinburgh’s industrial supply continues to be pushed out of the city centre by residential development.”
Angus Thomson of FT Linden added: “Loanhead in particular is fast becoming the prime industrial location to service Edinburgh and the Lothians as it continues to achieve some of the highest rents in the central belt.”
Simon Dormer, Development manager for Business Parcs Limited commented: “It is great to see the market for small to medium industrial units in Edinburgh so strong at the moment and we are delighted with the progress to date.”
Ryden and FT Linden represented landlord Business Parcs Limited in these lettings.
