Property adviser JLL has made five new hires across its Manchester based project management, planning and development and residential advisory teams.
Paul Hackwell has joined as a director in JLL’s project & development services team. Paul joins from project management company Pierre Angulaire, having gained experience advising organisations in a wide variety of property sectors, and for both private and public sector clients.
Keith Jones has been appointed to the planning and development team as associate director. Keith brings strong retail experience to the team, having advised on a number of major UK supermarkets during his time at Manchester based consultancy HOW Planning LLP. Meanwhile Luis Perez has joined the same team as a graduate surveyor and will work across a range of clients including Aldi, Liverpool City Council and LaSalle Investment Management.
JLL’s growing residential advisory team has also made two new hires, with Matt Francis and Naomi Warren joining as executive surveyor and surveyor respectively. Matt previously worked for Centaur Surveyors and Valuers, assisting with mortgage valuations, while Naomi joins JLL from Cushman and Wakefield, where she specialised in the valuation of residential land and development.
Nine consultants now work in JLL’s Manchester residential advisory team following the hires. Part of the 38-strong residential department based in Manchester, the specialist team delivers consultancy in residential valuation, affordable housing, retirement living and development.
David Lathwood, lead director at JLL, said: “We’ve celebrated our 50th year in Manchester during 2018, a year that’s seen our specialist teams advise on landmark deals and developments. We’re continuing to develop market-leading specialisms like residential advisory, providing expert consultation to clients during an important phase in Manchester’s housing sector.
“The calibre of talent at all levels coming into JLL will help continue to bolster the company’s credentials as a leading consultant in the city and as a key adviser to a host of businesses from around the world involved in the Manchester market.”
