Exchange Quay, the 435,000 sq ft office development in Salford Quays, has signed two new deals with BEAUTY BAY and Chase de Vere to support expansion plans for both businesses, comprising total office space of more than 8,700 sq ft.
BEAUTY BAY, an online beauty product retailer is expanding its operation and doubling the size of its office accommodation at Exchange Quay, taking 7,591 sq ft of additional space on the 10th floor of Building No 5, to a total of 15,200 sq ft. Independent financial advisory firm, Chase De Vere is expanding its existing base at Exchange Quay, signing a new lease for a 1,120 sq ft suite in Building No 8.
Exchange Quay is one of the largest office developments in the North West with 3,000 people now working from the six buildings within the acclaimed riverside development. Acting on behalf of the development’s owner, Ekistics continues to invest in the office building following an initial £10m investment implemented by Hunter.
The scheme has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme to deliver Grade A office space, as well as extensive remodelling of the public realm, the introduction of several retail outlets, occupier amenities and the launch of a Kids Planet children’s day nursery.
Ekistics is continuing the development’s transformation with the next phase of refurbishment in Number 3 close to completion, which will deliver further high quality offices along with a new café/bar branded ICE.
Exchange Quay lies at the gateway to Salford Quays/Media City, approximately 1.5 miles to the southwest of Manchester City Centre. It boasts its own dedicated Metrolink tram stop and is strategically located just off Trafford Road which links Salford Quays to both Manchester City Centre and the major motorway networks via the M602
