Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has expanded its Strategic Planning team in London with the appointment of Charlotte Hutchison, an Associate.
Previously at Iceni Projects Limited, Hutchison is adept at advising on planning projects from the inception stage, through to delivery across the South East. Hutchison has experience across the breadth of the real estate sector, having worked on commercial and mixed-use projects, and has a deep-sector focus on the residential sector.
Highlights in Hutchison’s career so far include the planning portfolio review of GLP’s acquisition of IDI Gazeley in 2017, delivering planning permissions for the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s high value development portfolio in London and the Home Counties and promotion of land for 3,000 residential units which involved preparing representations and presentations to the Council, as well as managing stakeholder engagement.
Additionally, having recently completed an 18-month secondment to development agency Glenny LLP, Hutchison has the advantage of client-side experience.
In her new role at Carter Jonas, Hutchison will focus on the preparation and submission of major planning applications for residential-led opportunities, harnessing her well-rounded skillset.
Charlotte Hutchison, Associate, Carter Jonas, said: “I am delighted to join the Carter Jonas planning team and am excited to be working in the London office, in a city that is ever evolving – where matters relating to planning are of the utmost importance, particularly when it comes to the places in which people live”
