The industrial team at property adviser JLL has let the final unit at Buckshaw Link near Chorley, to AKM Fabrications on behalf of clients of Barings Real Estate.
The metal products manufacturer has taken a 10-year lease on a 14,418 sq ft unit which leaves the scheme fully occupied. The deal follows bicycle retailer Merlin Cycles taking 6,413 sq ft in addition to their existing 23,677 sq ft at the scheme earlier this year.
Buckshaw Link comprises 225,000 sq ft of accommodation across 20 units ranging from 6,425 to 36,392 sq ft. Occupiers at the estate include Plumb Centre, Badger Office Supplies, and Volker Rail.
Built in 2008, the scheme forms part of the Buckshaw Village development, one of the largest mixed-use projects in the North West, spread across 500 acres.
Robert Kos, director at JLL, said: “AKM Fabrications taking the final unit at Buckshaw Link follows a trend of schemes in the North West becoming fully occupied due to healthy demand for space in the region.”
