Commercial property specialists at Lambert Smith Hampton’s South Coast offices have capped a record year for transactions with the honour of being named Most Active Dealmaker in Hampshire.
The award from Estates Gazette (EG), widely regarded as the leading national publication in the commercial property sector, has gone to LSH for the 12th consecutive year.
The publication also named Dan Rawlings, Senior Surveyor in the industrial team at LSH, the individual Most Active Agent for Hampshire.
EG’s figures show LSH’s South Coast specialists transacted 70 more deals than any other agent across the industrial, office and retail sectors.
The figures add up to a record-breaking year for the office, which has the largest transaction team on the South Coast, working across the Solent region from offices in Southampton and Fareham.
Commenting on his award, Dan Rawlings said: “I’m pleased to accept this award, which reflects the success of the LSH team this year. Despite gloomy predictions, we have seen the industrial occupational and investment market go from strength to strength, without signs of economic uncertainties constraining the market.
“This year LSH secured the region’s first double digit rents in the mid box range, witness further hardening of yields, and the marginalisation of headline rents between refurbished prime and secondary stock.”
EG collects extensive data on deals around the UK before issuing its awards on a region by region basis. The competition is based on number of deals, rather than their size, and covers all commercial property types.
Graham Holland, head of the South Coast Office at LSH, said: “We’re pleased to win this award for the 12th year running, at the end of another busy and hugely successful 12 months for the team. The number of deals once again demonstrates our expertise and knowledge of the region, and our commitment in finding opportunities that match our clients’ requirements.”
