A marquee and equipment hire firm has acquired an industrial/warehouse unit on a popular business park on the fringe of the New Forest.
Castle Marquees has bought Unit 5 at Fordingbridge Business Park in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Asking leasehold price for the 2,712 sq ft (251.93 sq m) unit was £220,000 on a 999-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “We acted jointly with Goadsby of Bournemouth, who made the introduction, on this sale.
“Burley-headquartered Castle Marquees were seeking a good sized unit in a strategic position and we were happy to be able to oblige.
“The business park is located on the western side of lively Fordingbridge town centre, close to the B3078 which connects the town to Cranborne.
“It is positioned in a rural New Forest area, with Salisbury just 10 miles away via the A338 and Ringwood plus the A31/M27 link only six miles away.”
The property is a mid-terrace industrial/warehouse unit of steel portal frame construction with cavity brick and blocks elevations and profile steel cladding to the walls and roof.
