A socially responsible workplace design, refurbishment and fit-out business, which reinvests its profits into supporting people with mental health issues, is set to open its first Bristol office.
After trading successfully for the past two years in Wales, PS Properties & Interiors is preparing to open a new office in Temple Way.
Having already worked with Bristol-based clients including K2 Management, Insight Law and the Bristol Evening Post, the new office is launching due to growing demand from businesses across Bristol and the South West of England.
The new base will be overseen by business operations director David Plummer, who hails from Bristol, with a new business development manager set to be appointed next month.
Specialising in designing, refurbishing and fitting out businesses to enhance the working environment and productivity, the business operates under a trading subsidiary of mental health and wellbeing charity Gofal, which means it reinvests profits back into the charity.
Gofal Enterprises Limited (GEL) also operates APP UK, a cleaning business, which works collaboratively with PS Properties & Interiors to supports its clients and charitable aims.
Mr Plummer said he is aiming to replicate the business’s success in Wales in a bid to positively benefit even more people’s lives.
He said: “PS Properties & Interiors has enjoyed great success across Wales since it was established.
“Not only has it developed an unparalleled reputation for the work it does, providing first-class refurbishment and fit out services to the highest of standards, but it has also changed the lives of numerous people living with mental health issues day to day.
“Thanks to this success, which we are incredibly proud of, we are now looking to expand the PS Properties & Interiors offering into the South West, with a view to providing our renowned socially responsible services to an even greater customer base.
“This expansion will enable us to generate even greater funds to reinvest into Gofal’s charitable mission, which will ultimately support the fantastic work they do in helping people with mental health issues.”
The Bristol office launch was also praised by company managing director Matthew Cole, who said they were delighted to be launching their latest offering in the South West.
He said: “PS Properties & Interiors plays an absolutely crucial role in supporting the work of Gofal, so we are thrilled to see it expanding into the Bristol market.
“We believe that its socially responsible ethos will see it thrive in the South West, which can only have a significantly beneficial impact on the work we are able to do at Gofal.
“This is set to be an extremely successful addition to our office portfolio and we wish the team every success for the launch.”
