Thursfields Solicitors has recruited an expert commercial property lawyer to its Solihull office.
Robin Creek joins the company as a director after spending six years at EMW Law LLP in Milton Keynes, where he previously worked for Harvey Ingram Borneos – now part of Shakespeare Martineau.
Tony Gibb, a director in Thursfields’ Commercial Property team, said: “We’re delighted to welcome a lawyer of Robin’s quality to our Solihull office, and we’re sure he’ll add to our strength in the region.
“It’s pleasing to see how Thursfields’ growing reputation is making the company increasingly attractive to top lawyers from across the country.”
Mr Creek was born in Northampton and studied law at Nottingham University before training at Eversheds in Nottingham, where he spent the first nine years of his career.
He said: “I was attracted to Thursfields by the ambition and vision of the firm, and because I think the people here are very friendly and approachable.”
Mr Creek’s expertise in commercial property law includes work for investors such as pension funds and land owners, while he also has a wide experience of advising education sector clients on property matters.
His interests outside of work include cars, rugby union – he’s a Northampton Saints fan – and computing.
Mr Creek added: “The location of Thursfield’s Solihull office was also a big positive for me, as I live in the town.
“I’m looking forward to developing my career here and contributing to the company’s continued expansion.”
