The building consultancy team at property adviser JLL has completed a large refurbishment project at a 12-storey office scheme in Manchester for Aberdeen Standard Investments.
The 18-week project at the 65,000 sq ft One Marsden Street office scheme near King Street and Market Street in Manchester city centre included a range of works packages across the building’s communal areas, including lift replacements.
Occupiers at the fully-let scheme include law firm Latham & Watkins, real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank and investment bank UBS Wealth Management.
Keiran Melfi, associate director for building consultancy at JLL, said: “The refurbishment works delivered at One Marsden Street add further value to what is already a prime office building with blue-chip occupiers in the heart of Manchester’s professional district.
“With its existing high-spec floorplates, improving the scheme’s communal areas has made the development even more appealing as a place to work and visit.”
The project follows JLL completing more than £2 million of refurbishments earlier this year across 12 commercial units at Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool – and office CAT A refurbishments on the 4th and 5th floors at 55 Princess Street, Manchester for Aberdeen Standard Investments.
