Developers Broadlands Wolverhampton Ltd, the joint venture between B&R Properties and Peveril Securities, have completed the development of a prestigious new office building totalling 24,295 sq ft (2,257 sq m) at Wolverhampton Business Park which is now occupied by Charter Court Financial Services.
Charter Court Financial Services (CCFS) committed to a pre let of this new three storey Grade A office building to accommodate its rapidly expanding workforce and recognising the significant benefits of Wolverhampton Business Park including its high quality environment, proximity to the M54, excellent on site amenities and the availability of a suitably skilled and highly motivated workforce in the area.
CCFS, established in Wolverhampton, is one of the fastest growing specialist mortgage banks in the UK and will be housing 250 of its staff in this new office when full, which is situated in close proximity to their existing building on the Park.
Ian Lonergan, CEO at CCFS, said: “Our staff are key to our success and we have found that Wolverhampton and the surrounding area has an excellent supply of the high quality of staff that we require. The access and onsite facilities at Wolverhampton Business Park are fantastic so it was an easy decision to expand here.”
Wolverhampton Business Park is a 30 acre scheme situated to the north of Wolverhampton, benefitting from a strategic location adjacent to Junction 2 of the M54 and first class facilities. A fitness and wellbeing centre, hotel, pub and restaurant and a children’s nursery all fall within the boundaries of the park. Conference, training and meeting facilities are also available to complete the offering.
Ralph Jones, Director at Peveril Securities, added: “Due to the simplified planning process and a contractor being already in place it was possible to commence construction without delay.
We have land available to develop a further 110,000 sq ft (10,219 sq m) on the final plot. Our joint agents GVA and Bulleys are also currently marketing 12,050 sq ft (1,119 sq m) of existing accommodation with suites available from 2,066 sq ft (192 sq m.”
Jonathan Rogers, Director at Broadlands Wolverhampton Ltd, said: “We are delighted that CCFS chose to expand their business at Wolverhampton Business Park. I’m sure their staff will appreciate the quality of this new building which is a fantastic addition to those we have already delivered over the years with occupiers including Handelsbanken, HSBC, Persimmon, Bromford Group and Speller Metcalfe.”
