Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Richard Shield as Partner to its Newcastle office.
Richard will head up the Development & Planning team in Newcastle advising public and private sector clients.
He joins from Savills where he spent four years as Director providing development advice to largely private sector landowners across the north of England.
Prior to this, Richard spent 10 years with DTZ Newcastle, before its merger with Cushman & Wakefield, where he built the current successful Development & Planning business.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Development & Planning is currently advising NTW Solutions on some Northumberland Tyne and Wear Foundation Trust sites, including exploring the potential for securing consent for alternative uses on surplus assets with the intension of securing capital receipts for the Trust.
