intu and M&G Real Estate, the joint owners of Manchester Arndale, have announced that designer fashion brand Tessuti will be opening at the centre. Tessuti will join menswear store Scotts, which is relocating to a larger space. Scotts and Tessuti are both part of JD Sports Fashion PLC and will trade from adjacent units, totalling 12,500 sq ft.
Tessuti will stock high-end and premium names, many of which have previously not been on offer at Manchester Arndale, including Parajumpers, Marbek, Love Moschino and Polo Ralph Lauren. Tessuti’s cutting-edge line up will be complemented by Scotts, which will be able to increase its athleisure inspired offer, showcasing brands such as Fred Perry, Paul & Shark, Tommy Hilfiger and Adidas.
These latest lettings follow the unveiling of a new flagship store by self-proclaimed ‘undisputed king of trainers’ JD Sports in Manchester Arndale at the end of last year. The impressive space, which has gone from strength to strength in 2018, boasts a state-of-the-art fit-out, offering shoppers exclusive styles from brands only available at JD Sports.
It has been an exciting year for fashion in Manchester, with the arrival of Scandinavian fashion brand Monki and iconic American brand Gap in Manchester Arndale. in addition to the prestigious Ralph Lauren bringing its timeless and bold style to nearby New Cathedral Street.
Kannika Mall, Asset Manager at M&G Real Estate, comments on behalf of the joint owners:

In recent months, we have seen a number of leading brands join our line-up, creating an impressive mix of clothing options to suit all tastes.”
