IT and Digital agency Blue Frontier is to relocate to Southampton from Salisbury, taking a floor at the landmark city centre White Building.
The company, which specialises in technical, web, software and digital marketing services, will take the entire eighth floor of the award-winning building in Cumberland Place.
The move was secured by South Coast office agency specialist at Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and Asset Managers for the building, Ashville Asset Management. LSH and JLL are sole joint agents for the White Building, which is now almost fully occupied.
Blue Frontier joins tenants including James Cowper, Keoghs, Foot Anstey, Regis Bentley, Novum Law, Barton Willmore, Blue Arrow and Manpower at the White Building, which has become a celebrated development since it was extensively refurbished following its acquisition by Ashville, on behalf of clients in 2014.
James Fry, Managing Director at Blue Frontier, said: “Blue Frontier elected to open a new office in White Building for a number of key reasons. Staff and clients are received in to a professional and relaxed atmosphere that is very much in keeping with our own brand image.
“Southampton is a thriving city and the prime location with 360 degree views from our 8th floor is extraordinary – it is a special place to work, and that is key to attracting new talent as Blue Frontier expands. For us, the White Building represents the ambition of our business, and will play a central role in shaping our future.”
Andy Hodgkinson, Director, Office Advisory at LSH’s South Coast offices, said: “Blue Frontier is the latest in a long line of businesses to fall in love with the White Building, which has been a magnet for leading names since its refurbishment.
“The high occupancy rate at the building is testament to the quality of the offices there and its prime location, but also to the thriving business environment in and around the city of Southampton. I’m sure Blue Frontier will feel very at home here.”
The White Building was named one of the most inspirational in the region at the prestigious Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards, where it was Highly Commended in the Commercial Property Category. It also holds the titles of Development of the Year and Workplace Environment of the Year in the South Coast Property Awards.
Andrew Oliver, Lettings Manager for Ashville group, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Blue Frontier team to the White Building, which has swiftly become a highly sought-after location. We wish the team every success in their new home.”
