Leading Yorkshire property development and investment company Glentrool Estates Group Ltd has strengthened its property team with the appointment of Lauren O’Toole.
Lauren joins Glentrool from the Leeds office of property consultancy JLL, where she specialised in industrial property.
Educated at Woodhouse Grove School, Giggleswick School and the University of Northumbria, Lauren previously worked at Adair Paxton and Carter Towler in Leeds.
She commented: “The opportunity to work for Glentrool and see things from the client side of the table was hugely interesting and a completely new challenge for me. Glentrool have a 20-year track record, a strong reputation within the market and own such a varied portfolio I knew it would be an interesting and exciting prospect.
“My role as the Property Portfolio Manager will be across the assets across Glentrool. This will involve the asset management of the current investment properties, working with our tenants and filling voids as they arise, as well as the new 75-acre logistics and manufacturing park at Sherburn2, which is a fantastic project to be involved in.
“I will be growing the portfolio through further acquisition of investment stock with the support of Rothschild and Co and I will learn more about the complexities of asset management, development and investment,” she explained.
Jeremy Nolan, director of Ilkley-based Glentrool Estates, explained: “We are delighted to welcome Lauren to Glentrool. She joins at an important time for the company as we continue to expand and embark on new developments.
“Lauren’s expertise and experience will be a huge asset for us. She will be part of a small, but very dedicated and talented, team.”
