Health, home and beauty discount brand, Savers has opened a new shop in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire through Peterborough based property agent, Barker Storey Matthews who acted for the previous tenant in the assignment of its lease.
The 199.62 sq m (2.148 sq ft) double fronted, ground floor retail unit is at 1 & 2 The Causeway Centre, High Causeway in the town centre and was previously occupied by national grocery chain, Heron Foods who relocated to new premises on High Causeway earlier this year (2018).
Simon Burton, Director, Barker Storey Matthews commented, “The Causeway Centre is a popular town centre location and, with a good footfall, we were confident of finding a replacement occupier in a position to take over the lease.
“It’s a boost to Whittlesey’s retail profile that it has attracted a national retailer to the town.”
