Arlington, the leading UK business park and logistics investor and developer, has completed construction of a new 69,000 sq ft head office, production and distribution centre for Air Business at Hatfield Business Park, Hertfordshire.
The purpose-built HQ, known as The Beacon, will be the main hub for Air Business’ operations. The company has signed a 20 year lease on the building which comprises 17,000 of offices and 52,000 sq ft of light production and warehousing space.
James Raven, Managing Director of Arlington said: “We’re really thrilled to have had the opportunity to invest in this exciting project for Air Business. They’ve had a very clear vision of the transformational potential this facility could bring to their business from our very first conversation and it’s been a delight to work with them in realising it. The end result is a fantastic addition to Hatfield Business Park.”
Adam Sherman, Air Business Group Managing Director, commented:
“Our constant drive to deliver the best service for our customers lay at the heart of our Head Office move. The new building revolves around our operational workflow, so that our clients will benefit from even more streamlined and efficient processing of their jobs. Situated just five minutes away from our old Head Office and distribution site in St Albans, Hatfield Business Park was the ideal location for our new premises; allowing a smooth and quick transfer of our customer’s jobs to the new site, whilst allowing us to retain our employees’ and their knowledge and expertise of the business and our customers.”
