Cushman & Wakefield has welcomed its latest influx of emerging talent with 45 graduates and 14 apprentices taking the first steps of their real estate careers with the firm. In the Leeds office Callum Thompson and Connor Rogers join the Graduate trainee programme, along with Lewis Richardson who joins for a placement year ahead of completing his Degree studies next year. The Leeds office also welcomes two apprentices Tom Daily and Angus Swain who’ve embarked on their careers in real estate.
The Leeds recruits alongside all other trainees had a packed induction week including talks, workshops and activities. This included meeting current graduates and apprentices, along with mentors who will provide support and guidance across the programmes.
Keith Hardman, Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Leeds office, said: “I am delighted to welcome another substantial intake of talented and enthusiastic new graduates and apprentices. They are joining a firm where they will be given opportunities to broaden their knowledge of the real estate sector and demonstrate their capabilities from the outset – these have been key factors in our outstanding APC success rate. The real estate industry is constantly evolving and fascinating sector to be involved in. More than ever, creativity, problem solving and an ability to adapt and rise to the challenges and opportunities that change brings will stand them in very good stead.”
Kirsty Bannerman, Early Career Development Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Our programmes ensure each individual takes on responsibility for their own work, with appropriate support, and gains the foundations necessary to then become specialist advisors later in their careers. We look forward to helping them progress.”
