The Birmingham office of global commercial property consultancy Knight Frank has promoted James Clements and Ben Wisher to the position of partner in the firm.
James Clements heads Knight Frank’s Industrial & Logistics agency in the Midlands, while Ben Wisher is a member of the Capital Markets team.
Ashley Hudson, Partner and Head of Knight Frank in the Midlands said: “The promotions of James and Ben reflect the excellent work they have put in since joining the firm and the opportunities at Knight Frank.
“As one of the last remaining international practices which retain a partnership model, we are able to invest in and support our people better than anyone else. The energy and motivation of our people is our strength and the Birmingham office is an incredibly vibrant place to be. This of course filters to our clients where we aim to be best in class in all that we do.
“These promotions follow a spate of recent new appointments at Knight Frank Birmingham and reflect the growing importance of the firm in a vibrant and exciting Midlands commercial property market.”
James Clements joined Knight Frank in 2013 and was promoted to head of Midlands Logistics & Industrial at the start of 2018. The team is involved in many of the region’s key schemes, such as the 2.3 million sq ft industrial development at Prospero Ansty, Coventry, and Birmingham’s premier industrial development site at The Hub, which is home to the new Wholesale Markets.
He said: “Since joining Knight Frank I have enjoyed seeing the growth of the industrial agency team within the Birmingham office. We have a good mix of national and local clients and act for both landlords and occupiers active within the region. I am delighted that the Partnership has recognised this hard work and success over recent years and look forward to my growing role within the company.”
Ben Wisher joined Knight Frank in Birmingham in 2012 in the office agency team before moving in 2014 to Capital Markets, which has been involved in £223m worth of investment deals in the past year, including the sale of Broadway Plaza and the acquisition of the Arup campus on Blythe Valley Park.
He said: ““I’m delighted to have been promoted to partner and I would like to thank Knight Frank for this recognition. As a Capital Markets team in Birmingham we are lucky to have such a strong working relationship with our colleagues in the city, and the wider Capital Markets team at Knight Frank, and this collaborative approach has been the key to our recent success. With so much going on in the region it’s a very exciting time to be working in the investment market in Birmingham and I look forward to working with our clients on many more transactions in the near future.”
