Sportswear store Ruroc has expanded into a refurbished industrial unit on the Barnwood Estate in Gloucester.
The company, which provides helmets, goggles and audio equipment for motorcyclists and skiers, has taken a 10 year lease on Unit 2 in Barnett Way. The landlord was represented in the transaction by property consultancy Knight Frank.
Josh Gunn from Knight Frank’s Industrial & Logistics division in Bristol, said: “This is a modern, refurbished warehouse/industrial unit on a self-enclosed gated site. It has an excellent location, and the landlord’s decision to refurbish was justified by the speed of the letting.
“Ruroc had been in the market for larger premises for some time however had been unable to locate a suitable warehouse to accommodate the growth in its business. The property is ideally situated for all parts of its business, from distribution to its very strong design team.”
The Barnwood Estate is two miles from both Junction 11a of the M5 and Gloucester city centre.
