Churchill House in Cardiff city centre has seen a spate of lettings in recent months as four organisations have chosen the multi-let office building as their base in Cardiff.
National charity British Heart Foundation recently moved into the building having signed on a 1,994 sq ft office suite on the 7th Floor while the Information Commissioner’s Office for Wales has taken 2,250 sq ft on the 2nd Floor – both on five year leases.
Architecture, engineering and construction services provider Jacobs has expanded its presence in Churchill House from its existing 9,000 sq ft to newly-refurbished accommodation totalling 15,000 sq ft on the 4th and 8th floors.
In addition, The Department for Communities and Local Government has renewed its occupancy in the building with a new lease for 6,100 sq ft on the 1st Floor on a new five-year lease.
In each transaction, the landlord was advised by joint agents Knight Frank and Fletcher Morgan.
Mark Sutton, partner at Knight Frank in Cardiff commented: “Churchill House is a popular option for occupiers providing a combination of high quality office space and close proximity to all of the city centre amenities. The landlord has taken a very proactive approach to refurbishment and the upgrading of the vacant suites means that we can currently accommodate occupier requirements from 10 to 100 people.”
John James, director at joint agents Fletcher Morgan added: “As well as the basement car park, the building has great transport links being located on Churchill Way, very close to Queen Street Train Station, several multi storey car parks and the city’s main bus network.”
Churchill House building extends to 86,000 sq ft in total and is home to a strong line-up of tenants including Michael Page, Appnovation, and SRK Consulting.
