A 19,066 sq ft industrial building in Bristol has been sold to Amphora Aromatics, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of essential oils and aromatherapy products.
The company has acquired Airfield House in Hengrove and will be using the unit to relocate their production operation to larger more modern premises.
Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of the vendor, a private pension fund, whilst Alder King represented Amphora Aromatics.
Airfield House comprises a modern, detached production / warehouse facility and includes 6,498 sq ft of office space. It is located on Western Drive, near Bristol’s Filwood Green Business Park, Enterprise Trade Centre, Hengrove Leisure Park and Hawkfield Business Park.
The building also incorporates a number of energy efficient features such as roof mounted solar panels and heat recovery system.

As a result, we received strong interest before agreeing the sale to Amphora Aromatics.”
Amphora Aromatics was formed in 1984 and has grown to one of the UK’s largest suppliers of essential oils and aromatherapy products. The company now has an established wholesale and mail order business across the UK and also exports worldwide from its base in Bristol.
