Independent commercial building consultancy firm Malcolm Hollis has announced a series of new starters to their offices across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
Bam Malla has joined Malcolm Hollis’ London City office as a building surveyor. Malla joins from his previous position at Anstey Horne, where he worked for four years. He has a master’s in building surveying from the London South Bank University.
Lauren Robbins joined the London Battersea office as an associate and she specialises in project delivery. Robbins previously worked at Cushman and Wakefield, in the position of senior surveyor. Robbins has gained over 11 years of building surveying experience since graduating from the University of Reading in 2006, with a bachelor’s in building surveying.
Geoffrey Chihuri joined the Leeds office as a building surveyor. He joins Malcolm Hollis as a second year student studying an RICS and CIOB accredited building surveying bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Lancashire.
Chris Baker joined the Winchester office as an associate. Baker has over 19 years’ experience in the property industry, gained through a variety of roles including project, development and commercial management. He graduated from the University of West of England with a bachelor’s in building surveying. He also has consultancy experience from a diverse client base, including commercial, industrial, higher education, charitable and government organisations.
Laura Johnston joined the Belfast office as a senior quantity surveyor. She brings a wealth of experience to the firm, with specialist knowledge of service areas such as cost reduction, cost control, cost management, development monitoring and building information modelling. Johnston joins Malcolm Hollis from Johnston Houston where she worked following her graduation from Ulster University, with a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying.
Karla Scott Castro joined the Madrid office as a project manager. Mexican born, Castro has a range of specialist skills in cost estimating, project management and construction management. She has experience in managing projects in Germany, France and Spain. Malcolm Hollis recruited Castro from AECOM, where she worked as a project manager.
Matthew Robinson joined the Welwyn Garden City office as a surveyor. He joins the firm from Plowman Craven, where he worked for four years as a surveyor.
Phil White joined the Newcastle office as a building surveyor. White graduated in 2004 from Northumbria University, where he studied building surveying and the built environment. He joins Malcolm Hollis from a previous position at Gentoo Group, where he worked for 11 years.
