Queensberry, following a period of sustained growth, has announced three new hires and has made a strategic decision to open a second office located in Sheffield to support expansion of business in the North.
The opening of a Northern office will create a more agile and efficient company with immediate access to an increasing number of clients. The strategic expansion coincides with the next construction phase of the £470 million Heart of the City II regeneration scheme. A 50 unit residential building and a 40,000 sq ft office building with commence on site during Q1 of next year. In addition, the office will also serve as an outpost for the team who work alongside Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council on its £130 million town centre regeneration programme The Glass Works. Phase 2 of this long awaited development will also commence Q1 2019.
This news follows the announcement that Andrew Davison, who has a wealth of redevelopment experience spanning over 10 years in the industry, will join Queensberry as Project Director from Turner Townsend. Andrew, a Sheffieldonian, will kick start the opening of the Northern office and will bring a raft of local expertise to add to the great regional knowledge Q already has. Andrew will be joined in October by Michael Norris, who previously worked for Centre Parcs, adding further Project Manager resource.
Back in London Q has also welcomed Charlie Hibbert to its London team. He joins from Arcadis LLP and will assist the company focusing, among other things, on investment analysis and acquisitions for clients and co investors.
