Developer and Asset Manager, MEPC has appointed Wates Construction as building contractor for 4 Wellington Place.
With work on site due to start next month, 4 Wellington Place becomes the seventh building due for completion by Wates Construction on the site, continuing on the six year relationship between Wates and MEPC.
The building will provide 153,000 sq. ft of grade A, BREAAM excellent office accommodation, including up to 18,000 sq. ft of ground floor retail and leisure space to the Leeds city region. Once completed, 4 Wellington Place will be the ninth building to be completed in the wider Wellington Place masterplan, following on from the new regional government hub in buildings 7 & 8.
