National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed a trainee surveyor for its Lincoln office as it looks to harness young talent.
Alex Clifton, aged 20, has joined the consultancy’s lease advisory department, where she will undertake a five-year traineeship, eventually leading to a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management.
The former Branston Community College student spent the past two years as administrator and lessons co-ordinator for swimming school Swimtime and is an active member of Harmston Young Farmers, which raises thousands of pounds for charity.
Andrew France, associate director of LSH Lincoln, said: “We’re committed to nurturing new talent through our highly sought-after traineeships and are delighted to welcome Alex to our increasingly busy office. She’ll learn on the job from some of the most experienced commercial property professionals in the region, as well as undertake college work so that she can gain the qualifications she needs to succeed in this highly competitive sector.”
Alex added: “LSH stood out because it is a national multi-disciplinary property consultancy with an excellent reputation and it is one that offers full training and support. I’m looking forward to beginning what I hope will be a successful career as a chartered surveyor.”
