Princess Motor Yacht Sales did not have to charter a removal firm as part of their expansion as they have moved to a new dedicated building on Athena Court in Tachbrook Park just across the road from their previous base which they shared with Rybrook Holdings who are based in Athena Court.
Warwickshire property company AC Lloyd, which has commercial, housing and investment divisions, owns Athena Court and has major holdings in Tachbrook Park, worked with agents Bromwich Hardy to secure a lease agreement to allow Princess Motor Yacht Sales to have its own dedicated base on the office complex
Princess Motor Yacht Sales is the official distributor of Princess Yachts for the UK, southern Spain, the Balearic Islands, Germany, Portugal and Turkey and annually sells around 80 new luxury yachts ranging from £400,000 to £19 million.
They also provide a comprehensive after-sales service and technical support package to yacht owners from the south coast of the UK and Majorca, together with pre-owned yachts and brokerage facilities it offers within its business.
The sales administration, accounts and marketing staff, who are led by CEO Max Whale and Managing Director Colin Capewell, are now settled in its new 3,756 sq ft home.
Colin said it made logistical sense to set-up within the Rybrook group’s offices when they only had four employees – but both businesses were growing and needed more office space.
“I have been here just over six years and the business has grown to such an extent that we have run out of room,” he said.
“Rybrook is growing as well and it made sense to free-up space for the group and for us to have a separate base.
“We now have meeting rooms as well as offices for all our staff whether they are based here or travel from Spain, Germany and the UK to headquarters occasionally and we expect the business to expand even further.
“Historically our business has been very much focused on the sale of New Princess Yachts – and we remain firmly committed to that – but we need to further develop other elements of the business to complement that and allow us to grow further.”
“As an example, the brokerage aspect of the business has grown exceptionally in recent years but we have plans to develop this aspect for None Princess Yachts under another brand which we are going to launch later this year so we will be recruiting more staff for this venture.”
Tony Hargreave, property asset manager at AC Lloyd which is based at Tachbrook Park, said unit three at Athena Court was ideal for Princess Motor Yacht Sales on various levels.
He said: “Princess Motor Yacht Sales is renowned for its professional and friendly service whether it is selling yachts which are sailed around the globe or helping people with provisions before they arrive at their destination.
“It is great that they are expanding their business and the offices have been refurbished to a high standard.
“They now have the space to accommodate further members of staff and hold internal and external meetings in various rooms as they take their business to the next level.”
Tom Bromwich, partner at Bromwich Hardy, added: “Once again this shows the quality of the offices at Athena Court in attracting such a high-class tenant.
“Tachbrook Park is an established business park offering excellent accommodation in an unrivalled location.”
