Businesses from all over Bristol joined real estate advisor GVA earlier this month for its annual charity trail around the city.
Nineteen teams, made up of clients and work associates, and each hosted by a GVA team member, followed the trail around selected pubs and parks to pick up clues and undertake challenges. This year the trail had a boating theme, and challenges included water transfer, building a boat and a boat race.
This is the fourth year that GVA has organised the charity event.
Gordon Isgrove, regional senior director at GVA, said, “With such beautiful weather, what could be better than having lots of fun with friends and colleagues, and raising money for charity at the same time.”
The evening raised £8,480 for the Alzheimer’s Society, which includes match-funding from GVA.
“We’d like to thank everyone who joined us and took part in the challenge. For many this was their fourth time of joining us – and it keeps getting better every year! Special congratulations to Burgess Salmon, followed closely by Clarke Willmott and then Phil Jones Associates, who were the evening’s winning teams.”
Everyone also joined in sharing their photos on social media, resulting in #GVACharityTrail trending during the evening!
