JLL has announced the appointment of Aimee Baker, director, and Dalene Kyzer, director, in the Project and Development Services (PDS) team.
Dalene joins JLL from project management firm Quantem where she was a partner. Dalene has extensive experience of leading large-scale residential and commercial projects and working alongside agents and architects to submit the most viable and cost-effective schemes. She has been involved in several projects that included huge volumes of masterplanning worth over £500m at any one time; and her past clients include Native Land, Grosvenor, Helical Bar, EPR Architects, Allies and Morrison, and Roundhouse. Dalene was a panel member at the 2018 Women in Construction summit in London and has experience promoting diversity across the construction and real estate sectors through initiatives with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Dalene’s role will see her focus on cost management for investor clients.
Aimee has transferred to the PDS team in the UK from her role in Australia. Aimee has been working at JLL since 2012 where she first took up the role of operations director in Hong Kong. Since then, she has held various positions in JLL, including leading the PDS team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) as state manager. During her time in Australia, she also served as director of Federal Government accounts, where she managed a team with a $4m revenue that included work with the Australian Federal Government, which contributed to over 50% of the business in the country. In her role in the UK, Aimee will be focusing on project management in the public sector – a growing area of the PDS business.
Helen Gough, lead director, PDS UK, commented: “With their impressive backgrounds and experience, Dalene and Aimee are key additions in strengthening and growing our UK PDS team. These two appointments exemplify the outstanding talent and expertise we pride ourselves on at JLL. We continually strive to hire the best people to ensure we deliver the highest standard of service to our clients. With appointments such as Dalene and Aimee’s bolstering the UK team we will continue to provide market leading support to our clients across a variety of sectors.”
