South West property specialist, Vickery Holman, has capitalised on a rise in demand for its services by employing four new members of staff in its Exeter office.
The company employs 60 staff across its four offices and offers a complete property service to a diverse range of clients from high profile PLC’s to private individuals, developers, investors and tenants and the public sector.
The resilience of the South West Commercial Property Market and a rise in demand for the firm’s valuations, commercial agency, project management, building surveys and property management services has facilitated the expansion.
The new appointments have been made within the Exeter office, where Managing director and Chair of The Exeter Chamber of Commerce Mark Pellow is based, and include:-
Stephen Hart has returned to Vickery Holman as lead of the Exeter Building Surveying team.
Stephen has over 30 years of extensive building surveying experience across the South West and advises on Party Wall, Expert Witness, Contract Administration, Refurbishment and Build Projects, Project Management, Project Monitoring, Planning and Building Regulation Advice, Construction (Design and Management) and Regulations CDM Principal Designer.
Ian Davidson has taken over property management in the Exeter office, having joined the business following two years in Dubai working for Savills.
Chartered Surveyor, Charles Berry, has joined the already successful valuation team working alongside Mark Pellow, Associate Samantha Johnson, and John Tyas. Charles has returned to his ‘native’ South West following several years working for Knight Frank in London and will be focussing on secured lending valuations.
Ollie Yeoman has been appointed to assist Associate Clare Cochrane and Mike Oldrieve in the busy agency team. Ollie is currently studying for a masters degree at the University of the West of England in Real Estate Finance and Investment, which he is due to complete in January 2019.
Managing director, Mark Pellow commented: –
“We are delighted to have continued to expand and invest in our biggest asset – our people.
The quality and experience of our new colleagues is a testament to the increasing draw of the South West, both as a place to do business, a great place to live and indeed of Vickery Holman as an employer.
The skill sets offered are fantastic and will prove invaluable to our clients as we remain confident about the property market in the South West.”
