Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its award-winning UK Healthcare Advisory team with the appointment of Katie Richardson as Senior Surveyor in its Manchester office.
Katie joins from the Commercial Valuation team at JLL having previously specialised in the healthcare sector. She has experience of covering primary care, nursing and care homes and has a background in the valuation, acquisition and disposal of general commercial property.
Katie will be working alongside Gary Yeardley in the Manchester Healthcare Advisory team on the valuation of various healthcare assets for new and existing clients, such as major UK high street and challenger banks as well as overseas lenders, developers, private and corporate operators and various long-income investors.
Her arrival further boosts Cushman & Wakefield’s rapidly-expanding healthcare team which now has 15 sector specialists across the firm’s London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow offices since it was established two years ago. The team advises on a diverse range of projects from private hospitals to diagnostics clinics, GP surgeries, care homes, NHS Trusts, local authorities and specialist care facilities.
It has valued or advised on nearly £3bn of asset value and recently won ‘Property Consultants of the Year – Capital Markets’ at the 2018 Health Investor Awards.
