A leading property consultancy has expanded its regional planning team Chester to help service the firm’s expanding client base as a result of strong growth across the North West.
Fisher German has appointed Nial Casselden as a planner at its regional office in Chester as it sees an increase in work in the area.
Nial has almost 18 years’ experience in local authority planning and joins the firm from Cheshire West and Chester Council, where he led the development management team to become one of the best performing in the region.
He appeared on the BBC Two series ‘The Planners’ and ‘Permission Impossible’ in 2013 and 2014, where he presented a number of interesting planning and enforcement cases in Cheshire.
He will lead on planning in the Chester office, working on a range projects across the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors.
The expansion is on the back of a large number of successes which will see the department also welcome another planner in September.
Nial, who has been a chartered planner for 10 years, said: “I am extremely pleased to join Fisher German and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s ongoing success
