Sheffield-based Russell Richardson, which specialises in confidential shredding, archiving and recycling, is expanding to new premises to accommodate demand.
Marking its 40th anniversary this year, the 2nd generation family business is moving to a 30,000 sq ft premises at Park House Lane, Tinsley which is more than double the size of its existing operation in Clay Street, Attercliffe. The company is also taking stock of an adjacent 20,000 sq. ft. building which will be used for archiving and storing records.
The 20-strong company commissioned Keebles’ commercial property team to secure and manage seven year leases on both its new buildings which will be operational from December this year.
Cutting-edge equipment – including a mobile shredding truck to shred computer hard drives – will be installed in the new site as part of a major investment programme.
Developing the only shredding plant in the Sheffield City Region, the company’s client portfolio includes the head office of the Formula One Grand Prix team, police forces, motor giants and famous British fashion designers.
