BizSpace, the largest provider of flexible workspace with offices and workshops across the UK, announce membership of the Gatwick Diamond Business (gdb) as they open the doors to The Body Shop’s original HQ in Littlehampton.
With the Littlehampton site opening on the 30th July 2018, joining this financially and politically-independent body, Gatwick Diamond Business will help them to represent, support and empower local businesses.
Commissioned by the Gatwick Diamond Initiative, Gatwick Airport and the Coast to Capital local enterprise partnership, Gatwick Diamond Business focuses on building business-led strategic partnerships, creating opportunities and the right environment to allow existing and inbound businesses to thrive.
With business centres in Hove and Lewes and their recent acquisition in Littlehampton, BizSpace is the second largest provider of flexible, serviced and affordable office space in the Gatwick Diamond. Membership for Gatwick Diamond Business now includes seven local borough/district councils and two county councils, as well as a wide range of private sector partners.
BizSpace have fully refurbished the office building, providing 73 new workspaces available on short-term agreements and at affordable licence fees. The work has updated the existing interiors, providing modern workspaces, centre-wide Wi-Fi and a large communal area. The site will open with a launch event next month.
Jeremy Taylor, Chief Executive of gdb, said: “We are delighted to welcome BizSpace as part of gdb. The type of business accommodation that BizSpace provides in the Gatwick Diamond is in high demand and we are hugely looking forward to working with a company that values the success of our local businesses as much as we do.”
Emma Long, Commercial Director at BizSpace, commented: “The Gatwick Diamond is not only one of the South East’s strongest economies, but also one of the UK’s best performing areas. With business centres in Hove and Lewes and our recent acquisition in Littlehampton, we look forward to working with gdb and our fellow members to help create a thriving local workforce.”
