A firm of accountants has taken space at a Gillingham business centre.
T S Accounting South West Ltd has taken a new lease of Unit 20, Kingsmead Business Park.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major, acting on behalf of owners and developers of the park, Hopkins Developments Limited, brokered the deal which saw the firm expanding into new premises from elsewhere in town.
The office unit comprises 1,075 sq ft (99.87 sq m).
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “T S Accounting South West Ltd is a firm of accountants, specialising in a variety of services from accounts reporting legislation to business planning.
“I was delighted to help facilitate growth within a local business. The new offices are ideal for the firm.”
The unit has been fitted out to a good standard to include carpets, Category II lighting and WC facilities. The unit has allocated car parking.
Kingsmead Business Park is a new development on the south eastern edge of the town centre and has frontage to the B3081 Gillingham to Shaftesbury road.
The 10-acre park is serviced by a new roundabout off the Gillingham/Shaftesbury road and Hopkins Developments have further land to develop.
Gillingham is a busy and growing north Dorset market town midway between Shaftesbury and Sherborne and four miles from the A303 and its junction at Mere, linking to Exeter and the West Country and the M3/London. The town’s mainline railway station connects with London Waterloo.
The town has a population of approximately 11,750 and an established local thriving business community where occupiers include Pets at Home, Asda, Waitrose and Mole Valley Country Stores.
