GVA has continued to expand its Property Management Consultancy (PMC) team in the Midlands with two new appointments.
Lydia Collins and Rebecca Halbert have joined GVA at an active time for the PMC team, as it delivers services across both new and existing projects throughout Birmingham and the wider region.
Lydia has joined GVA as a surveyor from Darby Kaye Property in Coleshill and will be working on projects including Birmingham’s Brindleyplace, Brunswick Arcade and the Assay Buildings on Newhall Street.
Rebecca will be working as a marketing manager, building on experience gained in at Millennium Point in the city, and will be delivering destination marketing for a range of schemes including Brindleyplace, Swinton Shopping Centre and Chesterfield Waterside.
She also sits on the Committee for Future Faces in the city and is a trustee for the Buddy Bag Foundation, a charity which supports children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home.
Guy Thompson, GVA, said: “Our PMC team is going from strength to strength and the demand for our services in Birmingham and the wider region has created significant growth opportunities.
“Both Lydia and Rebecca will be working on a range of schemes including Brindleyplace, where we have recently been retained by Hines UK to provide property management services.
“I’ve no doubt that with their skillsets, they will make a great contribution to our team, enhancing out outstanding range of existing talent.”
Lydia and Rebecca’s appointments are the latest in a number of new hires for the Midlands PMC team, following the appointments of Gert Corfield and Paul Causer to the team earlier this year.
GVA’s PMC team provides a wide range of property management services including rent collection, service charge allocation and budgeting, occupier communications and regular inspections.
The team also provides an array of additional services such as facilities management, destination marketing, service charge consultancy and accountancy services to developers, occupiers and investors across the UK from its London and regional offices.
