Barker Storey Matthews has appointed Thomas Campbell as a graduate surveyor to assist with the firm’s commercial property agency and professional services portfolio from the Huntingdon office.
Thomas (22) joins Barker Storey Matthews after graduating earlier this summer (2018) with an honours degree in Real Estate from Sheffield Hallam University. His dissertation about the economic benefit of Alconbury Weald on Huntingdonshire was completed after his year’s placement in 2016/2017 with Barker Storey Matthews.
He will continue to study and train towards the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which is awarded by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Michael Beardall, a Director of Barker Storey Matthews who is overseeing Thomas’s training and continuing professional development, said, “Thomas is a great addition to our Huntingdon office and has excellent local knowledge and connections having grown up in the local district.
“He will be undertaking a variety of work in order to gain the necessary experience to attain full membership of the RICS.”
