Canmoor has announced another new occupier for Westway Park in Renfrew.
Following on from the recent record-breaking deal with AMG Group last month, TNR Packaging and Case-making has just agreed terms to lease on Block A (Units 1 and 2), which extends to 27,000 sq ft.
TNR is an aspiring Renfrewshire business, which specialises in the manufacturing of export packing, crate and pallets and industrial storage, is upsizing operations from an existing base at Linwood. The unit at Westway will be used for manufacturing, with TNR making also using the extensive crane facilities in both units. The units also include office space and will see the workforce of the company increase to around twelve people.
Tom White, director at Canmoor, said:
“We are delighted to conclude another deal at Westway and it is particularly pleasing to see a local Renfrewshire business expand.
“It is clear that our strategy of investment in the future of Westway is proving attractive to occupiers.”
Thomas Cochrane, owner of TNR, said:
“The time was right for our business to expand and Westway proved to be the ideal central location, close to the airport, where the majority of our customers are located.
It also offers the added benefit of 24-hour security. The unit itself gives us excellent manufacturing space and having access to on-site cranes is a real benefit for our future business needs.”
Mike Brown from joint agent JLL, added:
“Westway offers the ideal location for ambitious and growing businesses. TNR was attracted by the location and specification of the units, as well as the ample power and cranage that is available on site.
“Under the new ownership, Westway is re-establishing itself as the prime industrial and distribution base in the West of Scotland and we continue to see increased demand for this type of space.”
Canmoor was advised by JLL, whilst TNR was self-represented.
