Niche commercial property agency M4 Property Consultants have moved to larger offices and recruited a new member to their team as they continue to increase their presence in the Newport and south east Wales commercial property sector.
The Newport based company who specialise in commercial property in Newport, Monmouthshire and Torfaen have moved from their offices in Merlin House, Langstone where they have been based for seven years to the Grade II listed Beechwood House in Beechwood Park, Newport. They have also recruited graduate surveyor Kelly Binnie to join the team.
The move and appointment are part of the ambitious plans for M4 Property Consultants who have in the past couple of years been responsible for some of the largest deals to be completed including the sale of two units totalling 320,000 sqft and purchase of nine acres of industrial land on the former Mabey Bridge site on Newhouse Farm Industrial Estate, as well as the sale of the Carcraft site in Newport.
Kelly Binnie a former Inspections Clerk for a Cardiff letting agency joins M4 as a graduate surveyor. In her new role, Kelly will be assisting with the sales and lettings of commercial property being marketed by the company including arranging and attending viewings of the properties as well as the negotiations between vendors and purchasers.
Dan Smith, Managing Director of M4 Property Consultants said, “We have set clear objectives for the expansion of both the agency and property management arms of the business. Kelly is a welcome addition to the team as we are receiving more instructions from clients and it is essential that we maintain the high standards of customer service we have become renowned for. Demand for commercial property is strong and bringing on new properties is difficult. With Kelly on board we can spend more speculative time sourcing new stock.”
The property management side of the business has also grown. M4 currently have 107 properties under management generating a rental income of circa £2m per annum for landlords and investment companies.
Dan Smith explains, “To manage this planned expansion, we have created a new position and recruited an experienced property and asset manager who will be joining at the beginning of August. It’s a busy and very exciting time for the company. With the enlarged team we can maintain our growth, and further increase presence in the regions commercial property market.”
