Global real estate advisor, Colliers International, has announced the appointment of Mark Bott as head of serviced offices, a newly created role which will see Colliers offer specialist advice to occupiers on co-working, flexible and serviced office spaces.
“Never before have we seen quite the depth and breadth of serviced office demand or offering, making Mark’s appointment particularly timely. His insight into this sector adds yet another string to our bow as our service proposition evolves to complement our clients’ business strategies,” said Tony Horrell, CEO UK &Ireland at Colliers International.
Bott joins Colliers from Instant Group, an independent global flexible workspace specialist where his clients comprised of FTSE 100 corporates, including Dow Jones and Micro Focus, and fast growing start-up companies.
“The workplace is constantly changing and evolving, which creates challenges for occupiers when aligning their business and real estate strategies. This is particularly relevant to tech companies who experience rapid growth and corporates who are looking to improve efficiency by reducing their footprint and utilising project space.
“Flexible workspace can help overcome some of these challenges by offering a simple, ‘de-risked’ property solution, which allows occupiers to remain agile and dynamic, whilst preserving capital.
“I will be working closely with Colliers’ existing tenant rep and occupier teams across sectors and geographies, helping to advise clients of all sizes,” said Mark Bott, head of serviced offices at Colliers International.
