A newly refurbished office building in the heart of Bristol city centre has attracted two new occupiers.
Hartwell House is now home to leading actuary and consultancy firm Barnett Waddingham which has taken 8,790 sq ft of grade A space on the second floor and training provider, Armada Training, which has taken 478 sq ft on the ground floor. Both companies are new to Bristol with existing offices throughout the UK.
The deals were agreed by Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of the landlord, Longwell Properties. Zoe Peace of Peace Pennels LLP represented Barnett Waddingham.
Constructed in 2008, Hartwell House is located on the corner of St Thomas Street and Victoria Street in Bristol’s CBD. The building underwent a refurbishment which completed in April and there is currently 13,134 sq ft of space available on the third floor.
Andy Heath, Head of Office agency at Cushman & Wakefield in Bristol commented: “Hartwell House is considered one of the best buildings in Bristol city centre and the fact that this is the first-time space has become available since its construction is testament to the quality and location of the building. With limited office supply around Temple Quay and the city centre in general, the location of Hartwell House and the quality of the refurbishment will provide a fantastic HQ opportunity for tenants.”
