Grant Thornton has appointed a new Senior Manager as it continues its expansion in the north east of Scotland.
Jenny Junnier has joined the leading business and financial adviser, specialising in Audit related client work. Her appointment is part of Grant Thornton’s long-term growth strategy in Aberdeen, which has already resulted in a number of hires and a recent move to the Silver Fin Building in the heart of Union Street.
With more than 18 years’ experience, including time spent with Deloitte, EY and Subsea 7, Jenny has developed a robust business network and is currently Chair and founding member of the Aberdeen X-Industry Support (AXIS) network, which champions increased gender diversity in the energy sector.
Commenting on her appointment, Jenny said:
“I was motivated to join Grant Thornton because of the pioneering work the firm is currently doing to promote a more vibrant, sustainable economy. The business has set out a clear plan to grow in Aberdeen and it’s incredibly exciting to become a part of that success story. The work I currently do with the AXIS network really reflects the values of Grant Thornton and I can’t wait to get started, helping clients to unlock their growth potential and using our experience and insight to support the long term future of Aberdeen’s vibrant economy.”
Corporate Finance Director, Barry Fraser, who has been leading the Aberdeen office growth program, added:
“We’re delighted to welcome Jenny to the team. Her combination of technical knowledge, experience and genuine passion for making a difference will be a real asset as we look to grow our business further in the future. Jenny is committed to driving positive change and this fits well with our aim of helping businesses in Aberdeen and the wider North East economy adapt and position for future growth”.
