DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of Chartered Surveyors, has once again secured the talents of commercial property expert Stuart Johnston to lead the Commercial Property Team in its busy Aberdeen office.
He re-joins as a Partner and will head up the team’s Valuation, Agency and Building Consultancy divisions for the firm’s North Group covering Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands.
He said: “I am delighted to have re-joined DM Hall and am looking forward to working with my commercial colleagues to build and develop the business in Aberdeen and North Scotland.”
A native Aberdonian, Stuart graduated from the city’s University and has previously worked at Ryden and CBRE prior to re-joining DM Hall.
He added: “Despite the property market in Aberdeen having been extremely challenging in recent years, there are continued signs of improvement in market activity and a gradual return to confidence. This will undoubtedly present opportunities for clients who can take advantage of the correction in rents and capital values that has resulted in recent years from weaker market conditions.”
Eric Curran, managing partner, said: “The Aberdeen office and the wider firm is very pleased to see Stuart return to DM Hall. His local market knowledge, connections and considerable experience will undoubtedly play a significant part in developing our commercial business in the North of Scotland as well as contributing positively to the wider partnership.”
