Harris Lamb has secured the latest store for discount retailer Poundstretcher in Norfolk market town Kings Lynn as the chain expands its UK presence.
The business’ Retail team was tasked by the brand to identify prime high street locations across the country, and Head of Retail David Walton said that the latest store, which opened this week, was the perfect fit for the chain’s growth plans.
David Walton said: “Poundstretcher has been actively expanding its reach throughout the country and the Kings Lynn acquisition is a prime example of the calibre of stores we’ve been retained to identify and acquire on its behalf.
“At 9,827 sq ft, the ground floor unit at 21-22 High Street has parking to the rear and enjoys high levels of footfall from shoppers, with neighbours including Debenhams, Boots, Primark and River Island.
“We negotiated a new ten-year lease for Poundstretcher and following a full fit out at the site, the new store opened it’s doors on Monday May 28th.”
The Retail team is continuing with its remit to identify high street locations for the chain as part of its intention to launch 50 new stores before the end of the year.
