A leading Yorkshire law firm has announced the completion of the sale of a multi-million-pound site in Harrogate, with development poised for a major new healthcare facility.
Shulmans LLP, acting on behalf Albert Hymas Limited, assisted on the process of a successful completion of the sale of the property. Difficulties were encountered associated with planning and tight timescales. The sale concerned a significant development site off Harcourt Road, in a deal worth in excess of £3 million.
The former brown field site is over an acre in size and has been sold to Springfield Healthcare for future development. The sale marks the end of an era for Harrogate-based Albert Hymas Limited, a fourth-generation family business that has owned the site since 1904.
