Barker Storey Matthews has been identified as Cambridgeshire’s most active property agent by commercial property research specialists EGi for the seventh consecutive year.
With a strong presence in Cambridgeshire served by agency offices in Cambridge, Peterborough and Huntingdon, Barker Storey Matthews has been the winner in EGi’s Most Active Agent Competition in the Cambridge area every year since 2010.
The annual competition is open to all agents, including national firms, who complete deals in Cambridgeshire. It is judged on the volume of completed deals – both sales and lettings – across the diverse range of commercial property sub-sectors including industrial, office, retail, investment and leisure.
Earlier this year (March), Barkey Storey Matthews was, for the fifth consecutive year, awarded the accolade of the Most Active Agent in the East of England in the national version of the competition.
Commenting on Barker Storey Matthews’ ongoing success in both categories of this much coveted commercial property competition, Ben Green, Director, said, “We have a strong team of agents who operate in key locations across Cambridgeshire.
“Yet it’s not presence alone which counts when it comes to our ongoing activity in securing instructions, negotiating deals and completing transactions year after year.
“Activities on behalf of our clients are based not only on our up-to-date knowledge of the forces in play in the regional property scene and its local micro-markets at any given point in the business cycle, but also years of on-the-ground property agency experience in each of the prime commercial locations in which we operate.”
