Commercial property specialists at Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) are celebrating a strong presence on the shortlist of the 2018 South Coast Property Awards.
LSH, which has offices in Southampton and Fareham, is nominated in the Property Client Service category for its work acting for Monolution in its acquisition of its new one-acre site at Southmoor Lane, Havant.
Three schemes for which LSH are agents are in the running for Development of the Year (Commercial). They are Alpha Park at Eastleigh, for which LSH is joint agent with BNP Paribas, Chilcomb Park in Winchester, for which LSH is joint agent with Hughes Ellard, and Daedalus at Solent Airport, Lee-on-the Solent, where LSH is the sole sale and letting agent.
The Daedalus scheme and Merlin Park at Portsmouth, for which LSH is joint agent with CBRE, are shortlisted as Business Park Innovation of the Year.
Portsmouth Retail Park, North Harbour, is nominated as Property Deal of the Year. LSH was joint funding agent for the sale of the site to Portsmouth City Council, and letting agent for the retail units.
Also in the running for Property Deal of the Year is the £30m South Central development at Nursling, where John Lewis Partnership is to site its new 46,080 sq ft regional distribution centre. LSH is joint agent for South Central with JLL.
Andy Hodgkinson, Director – Office Advisory for LSH’s South Coast offices, said: “We pride ourselves on knowledge of the region and outstanding client service, so I am delighted to see the work of our South Coast teams featuring so heavily in the categories for these awards, recognising our significant contribution to the industrial, retail, office and investment markets in the south.”
Winners of The South Coast Property Awards will be announced at a gala evening on July 19 at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
