Malcolm Hollis has announced the appointment of Partner for Environment, Energy and Sustainability services, Anne Johnstone, to the Scottish board of the Investment Property Forum (IPF).
The IPF is a community that offers lectures and events focusing on property investment to its members. The community is broken down into regions, with forums in England, Wales and Scotland.
Johnstone will join the Scottish board as a committee member and will offer advice and guidance about environmental policies to the board and Scottish IPF members.
“I’m honoured to be appointed to the Scottish IPF committee and have the chance to work with the other members of the board, says Johnstone. “We have a real opportunity to educate members of the Scottish property community about best practice in sustainability and investment alike.”
Johnstone has long been a champion for the environment. She has been working in environmental consultancy since 2000 and has a huge breadth of experience advising on the impact of environmental liabilities in the commercial property market.
Johnstone joined Malcolm Hollis to establish the Environmental service in July 2016 and has been Chair of the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA) since July 2017.
