Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has sold the freehold of a Bromsgrove office building for the new headquarters of a national construction and engineering recruitment firm.
Acting on behalf of Commercial Designs Solutions Holdings Ltd, Charlie Green, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold the freehold of CDS House, 7 Prior Wharf, Harris Business Park, Hanbury Road, Bromsgrove, B60 4FG to Edge Careers for £495,000.
CDS House is a 3,147 sq ft two-storey office building with 12 car parking spaces. It will be the new national headquarters for Edge Careers which is re-locating from Droitwich. Edge Careers also has offices in London, Manchester and Oxford.
Mrs Green says: “With a shortage of freehold office space in Worcestershire, we attracted a great deal of interest in this office building. Continuing low interest rates, the willingness of the banks to lend to acquire property, and the tax advantages of acquiring business premises through Self-Administered Pension Schemes mean that many business owners are keen to acquire for themselves property used by their business.”
